No, the Phillies did not win the World Series as we all know too well. But wow, what an effort this past season. Congratulations to an amazing team!
Let’s get to an even better team…Kris and Mike, and their outta-this-park, ace wedding! Mike is in the U.S. Air Force and looked quite dignified in his uniform. Kris is the gorgeous “all American girl” (and I say that with a little irony, because I wouldn’t want you to think she was at all not unique-she’s a serious player!) who scored in one of my favorite gowns this season. We just had so much fun with them and their bridal party – no bush league here - they were all pros at having a good time! Both live out of state, but PA was home field for these two, and they tied the knot at Our Lady of Good Council and then we slugged it out at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, thanks to Kris and her covert planning. It was a complete surprise to Mike, who may arguably qualify as the world’s number one Phillies fan, and as we were heading down to the park in the trolley, the look on his face when his gorgeous wife revealed the plan was…priceless! I know you are all thinking, this girl rocks! – and yes, you bet she does! The celebration continued at Radnor Valley Country Club, and what a party it was!
It was a home run with the assist from all the major league players, including our girl Stephanie from Congratulations doing the planning and day-of coordination, exquisite flowers from Adam at Belvedere Flowers, and one of our favorite bands, Chico’s Vibe. How could the percentages not be high???!!!
Of course, gotta have the premium jersey!

Ahhh…the moment to reveal to Mike the ultimate destination! I don’t think he believes it yet!

Calling it in…

It’s OUTTA HERE!

Stephanie doin’ her thing

Chic, figure-flattering, accessible, and quite simply…gorgeous. Well, I’m speaking of Nicole Miller wedding dresses of course! We were honored to be asked to be part of a recent bridal event at their lovely store in Manayunk, and even happier that they have invited us to participate in their White Friday event (which is, an amazing bridal sample sale!) the day after Thanksgiving. We met many exquisite brides-to-be and it was fun to observe the process a little of choosing the perfect dress. I swear, every dress that each girl tried on was so amazing, I felt that each dress chosen for the clients was, authentic - the dresses really are magical.
We teamed up with some of our favorite business partners – amazing artist, Amy from Petals Lane (she’s a floral designer and buyer) and Elaine Igoe from EBE Talent, who represents some of our favorite rockin’ bands, including Paris and Dreamtime. Elaine also is a fabulous planner and has great insights about the business. See you girls all again next week!
Oh, I forgot to mention that they sent Patrick the most amazing and dashing gift. OMG, how much do we love this tie??? Nicole Miller ties I’ve always loved as they have such great patterns and are of the best quality. Mary K. Dougherty, the owner of the Manayunk boutique, went out of her way to send this to us AND it arrived at our door on Patrick’s birthday, of all days. What a cool surprise. This shall be worn with joy-it’s happy tie, isn’t it?

I like this silly, way-to-artsy photo of Mary Dougherty and some signage

Even babies loved Nicole Miller Bridal!

Excitedly and nervously Tim and Alexis arrived at their engagement shoot, but it easily and quickly drifted into many fun moments of frolicking in the leaves. The fall brings such vibrant colors and pretty light, and this day was no exception. As we head into a chilly season, let these images warm your heart and dazzle your eyes !!! Love IS splendid
