It was soooo much fun shooting Jaime and Bruce’s wedding at the ever fabulous Aldie Mansion in Doylestown. What a great, playful, fun couple! Jamie is a sports broadcaster in Harrisburg, and Bruce is a producer for one of the big networks…just awesome energy! They adore each other and make the same faces, just fantastic! Of course, when it came time to walk down that long aisle in the back of the mansion, I think Jaime was focused but emotional, and that aisle is so darn long, I had trouble trying not to cry! A lovely, perfect day and we wish them all the best.

Custom Mad Libs!

Jaime and Bruce’s first dance was of course, hilarious!

Okay, well it’s not really a house, but rather an estate. When you start scrolling through the images, you’ll likely say, where on earth is this amazing place?! What IS it?! How can I plan my wedding there?! Well first, it’s the absolutely stunning and expansive Elkins Estate, and it’s located right near us!!! There is a lot of history behind the estate, so hop on over to their website, but in a nutshell, it is 42-acres of heaven-on-earth for any bride and groom (and well, let’s admit it, visually for a wedding photographer!) planning a dream wedding. Once the country oasis of renowned entrepreneur William L. Elkins now under the Land Conservancy of Elkins Park, it is one of the most spectacular new venues for weddings and events to come along. We are so happy to work among so many great professionals there, old friends and new…and some tasty caterers (Culinary Concepts, Feastivities, Uncommon Taste, and Max & David’s) to boot.
Special thanks to all the professional models, Carolyn Withers Diamond Makeup Artist, Dar Clinton Hair, and Béke Beau Makeup Artist, Amy Ragsdale Jewelry, as well as Hope Hilby for the most classic yet modern flowers, and everyone who helped out for the shoot!

The gorgeous details in every room are too many to show you!

This carriage house is to die for!

Amazing grounds

There are magnificent trees and ponds everywhere!

And the tapestries are unbelievable!

What do you think about these rooms? Quite simply, beautiful!

A big part of the grounds they hope to dedicate to yoga and retreats. Already you can take classes there…

I can see myself doing yoga in this room! Can’t you?

Well, we can’t wait until our first wedding there! We are just so excited to have this new, breathtaking venue in the area. Go check it out..they are giving lots of tours to brides and grooms NOW and booking as I write this!
