Well, they did it again! Cairnwood Estate + an amazing team of planners + industry events business partners, along with generous donations of time, creativity, + money, contributed to this spectacular Maxfield Parrish themed black-tie gala, raising money to support the continuing preservation + restoration of this historic site. A formidable turnout of ready-to-party guests were treated to spectacular tents, uniquely presented food, music, dance and even a lovely sprite perching on a floral swing high above our heads! One of the best things about Cairnwood, of course next to it’s beauty, is the great respect and mutual admiration between those that help maintain it – whether as an employee, a preferred partner at a wedding, or a local resident + contributor – everyone can, and does, enjoy Cairnwood and all it’s charm. It is absolutely one of the best wedding venues, truly for how well it is nurtured by a staff that contributes so much energy to making it all work. Thoughtful industry teams make for great weddings + events! Many, many partners embraced the gala, and we may have to skip a few here (we still love ya!) but everyone, we mean EVERYONE involved gave it their all – here are just some of the shenanigans that transpired at this delightful affair.

{ Special praise to Stephen Starr Events who along with Cairnwood, organized + managed the entire event – all agreed, BEST gala yet! }

WOW. Love Shack Photo was SO proud to be sponsors of Philadelphia’s wedding + event industry bash of the year! FRESH is presented annually by the International Special Events Society (ISES) of Greater Philadelphia as an industry showcase, networking event and fundraiser. Participating event professionals uphold a high level of excellence, and this year that end was no doubt fulfilled. Ohhhh…all the lush + colorful arrangements, jamming bands and entertainment, and tasty comestibles could not have had a more suitable setting…the luxurious and striking Elkins Estate in Elkins Park, PA! We LOVE a good party, and this party was not good, it was outta-hand sensational! So many awesome participants, far too many than we can list, but here are just a few highlights…

Chic, figure-flattering, accessible, and quite simply…gorgeous. Well, I’m speaking of Nicole Miller wedding dresses of course! We were honored to be asked to be part of a recent bridal event at their lovely store in Manayunk, and even happier that they have invited us to participate in their White Friday event (which is, an amazing bridal sample sale!) the day after Thanksgiving. We met many exquisite brides-to-be and it was fun to observe the process a little of choosing the perfect dress. I swear, every dress that each girl tried on was so amazing,  I felt that each dress chosen for the clients was, authentic – the dresses really are magical.

We teamed up with some of our favorite business partners – amazing artist, Amy from Petals Lane (she’s a floral designer and buyer) and Elaine Igoe from EBE Talent, who represents some of our favorite rockin’ bands, including Paris and Dreamtime. Elaine also is a fabulous planner and has great insights about the business. See you girls all again next week!

Oh, I forgot to  mention that they sent Patrick the most amazing and dashing gift. OMG, how much do we love this tie??? Nicole Miller ties I’ve always loved as they have such great patterns and are of the best quality. Mary K. Dougherty, the owner of the Manayunk boutique, went out of her way to send this to us AND it arrived at our door on Patrick’s birthday, of all days. What a cool surprise. This  shall be worn with joy-it’s  happy tie, isn’t it?

I like this silly, way-to-artsy photo of Mary Dougherty and some signage

Even babies loved Nicole Miller Bridal!
