Fall and wind and Liz and Andrew. This is where they met, the University of Pennsylvania (and where Andrew is still a grad student). And some shots between the stacks at the Van Pelt Library. We are looking excited for their wedding next spring at the Please Touch Museum…a fun venue for a fun couple!

Food. An integral part of any courtship/relationship, and Liz + Andrew favor this food truck, Hemo’s.

Where they met…the Van Pelt Library at UPenn. It’s such a cool, modern building, and while we spent only a few, fun minutes there trying to be quiet, I love these shots!

I met Kim and Tom at Grounds for Sculpture for their engagement session. It was the first time we met in person, and I couldn’t wait, because talking to them on the phone about their wedding next May, I knew we had an instant connection! It was an amazing fall day, with so many pockets of light, and we were even able to get some shots of the last of the fall leaves.

Yikes! With what seemed like 100% humidity and the rumbling of thunder in the distance, this was one engagement session that couldn’t be rescheduled. Cathy + Trevor, our humble yet awesome couple featured here, currently live in Southern California and this was the only day they’d be here together before their wedding. I think they have become total Califonians, and forgot what it feels like in Pennsylvania on one of our lovely drippy summer days. Water ice was definitely on the agenda.
They went to prom together, and have known each other since they were eight! Cathy told me that her and Trevor are yin + yang. She being an assistant producer at AMC (yes, I got the inside scoop on a new show on the network that is starting filming soon, based in Philadelphia!) and he being a numbers guy. But they both like water ice, among other things

we call this, the Mark Zuckerberg shot!

Some strange animal decoy was sitting around to, I assume, keep away other animals. “Dorothy, we’re not in California anymore!”

If you’ve ever seen the movie Talladega Nights, remember that scene with Will Farrell is getting interviewed…”I’m not sure what to do with my hands!” Well, that’s how many people feel, LOL!

While out west, they dream about Rita’s Water Ice
